What is good acting ?

Good acting  is when the actor find parts of the character in themselves and can truly feel and believe there lines and the characters emotion , the actor should be able to access past experiences to change opinions and make the audience ask questions about life and the world they live in.

The actors instincts should be in tune with the characters and their acting should come from the body rather than the mind.

an example of good acting in my opinion is the final scene of Casablanca with actors Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart.

What is bad acting ?

Bad acting is when the actor does not understand or connect with the character, they just repeat the lines .They don't believe in the character. The actor becomes distracted easily and is not interested in the work they are doing . the actor breaks trust and doesn't do the work. bad acting is when the actor does not take notes on how to improve and doesn't satisfy the characters needs and they are worried about embarrassing themselves so do not access all of themselves.
Bad acting comes from the mind rather than the body. 

Skills Audit 1

I think that at the moment i need to learn more about the written side of theater such as writing evaluations , using key words and getting to know more about specific writers  and generally expand my knowledge of theater . i need to work on become more flexible so i can move around freely when acting  and not be restricted to certain movements and i don't have to feel tense. I'm reliable on coming to rehearsals and learning lines  and am very good at learning lines however i sometimes learn lines with emotion which isn't good because it means that when i perform i perform from the body rather than the mind , so this is also a skill i need to work on.

Evaluation on my work in class 

I'm grading myself for the class at pass one (P1) because throughout the entire day i stayed focused on the task and i put effort into the practical work and was developing skills , ideas and vocabulary throughout,  in return of that effort being put in i developed a character with traits and background reasonably well , however i could have improved by applying myself in class , this could be volunteering for roles/ reading script or asking / answering questions to better myself
